Announcing the 10th Annual Emerging Dental Groups to Watch
Group Dentistry Now is excited to announce the 10th annual Emerging Dental Groups to Watch list. This list celebrates outstanding dental organizations that are making a real impact in group dentistry.
Group dentistry continues to grow and change. There is no single path to success. While much of the industry focuses on large DSOs, many smaller and emerging groups are quietly reshaping dentistry. New models—such as dental partnership organizations (DPOs), specialty-focused groups, and private group practices (PGPs)—are gaining momentum as more dentists choose to build and lead their own organizations.
As group dentistry continues to evolve, Group Dentistry Now remains a trusted voice highlighting these innovative, multi-location practices.
Previous winner lists: 2017–2025

Blueprint Smiles Dental Group
Emerging Dental Group to Watch in 2026
Overview
Blueprint Smiles Dental Group is a fast-growing, doctor-led dental organization based in Georgia. Founded by Dr. Dipesh Patel and Dr. Ravi Patel, the group has grown to nine locations and 85 team members in less than ten years. Blueprint Smiles was named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies in both 2023 and 2024.
The group expects to reach $14 million in revenue in 2025, with strong profitability.
Philosophy
Blueprint Smiles believes that happy teams create the best patient care. Instead of focusing only on patients, the organization focuses on its people—doctors, hygienists, and staff.
Their core belief is called Work. Life. Thrive. They believe work and personal life should both succeed, not compete. Offices operate Monday through Thursday, with alternating half-day Fridays. There are no late nights or weekends.
Growth & Success
Blueprint Smiles has grown steadily every year without losses. Much of this growth comes from improving existing offices, not just opening new ones. The group plans to add specialty services and expects continued growth in 2026.
What Makes Them Different
Blueprint Smiles combines new office development with carefully selected acquisitions. All locations are rebuilt using the same systems, technology, and culture. The company is privately owned, doctor-led, and does not rely on private equity.
Each treatment room operates like a small practice. Clinical team members handle care planning, scheduling, and treatment in one visit. This reduces delays and improves patient experience. The group also uses AI and automation to improve efficiency while keeping care personal.
Culture & Team Development
To address staffing challenges, Blueprint Smiles built long-term solutions. These include remote administrative teams, dental assisting schools, internships, and partnerships with hygiene schools. Clear training systems and automation help new team members succeed faster.
Community service is also important. The group runs annual toy drives, supports children’s hospitals, and leads outreach programs locally and internationally.
Challenges
Blueprint Smiles has faced many challenges, including staffing issues, office relocations, and early financial struggles. These experiences helped strengthen the organization and shape its systems.
The company’s roots began in 2013 when Dr. Dipesh Patel bought his first practice in a challenging area. Through persistence and teamwork, that practice grew—and eventually led to the creation of Blueprint Smiles in 2015.
Looking Ahead
Blueprint Smiles plans to continue growing through new locations, doctor partnerships, and specialty care. Leadership believes the current offices alone have the potential to exceed $30 million in revenue.
Blueprint Smiles shows that a dental group doesn’t need to be the biggest to be successful. With strong systems, smart growth, and a people-first culture, it is building a business designed to last.
